NEED TO KNOW MORE?
There is obviously a lot more involved in prisons related ministry than can be included on this web site but maybe something has caught your eye, touched your heart or spoken to you in some way and you would like to know more. You may wish to discuss some aspect of prisons ministry with us. Maybe there is someone you know who is in prison and you are wondering whether anybody cares. On the other hand perhaps you know someone or are yourself a victim of crime and are finding it very hard to move on, wondering why should anybody ever care about prisoners! We do not believe in simplistic one liners but over the years have seen hurting people healed and violent prisoners transformed and become real helpers and bringers of hope to others. Various leaflets are available on request To improve effectiveness, the work of this Trust is carried out wherever possible in partnership with others - both inside and outside prison. Questions sometimes arise about how this work is funded and a brief outline is given elsewhere on this site and in the note at the bottom of this page. Financial help is quite urgently needed for the work in Ethiopia and donations may be made for specific projects or for use "where needed". If you are considering donating to a specific project you have learned about from this website but would like to know more about it before committing yourself, you have only to ask! Projects in Ethiopia such as Twinkle of Hope and Refuge - dedicated to the care of prisoners' children with associated efforts to help maintain family ties - and the ongoing support for the chaplaincy team serving in prisons throughout Ethiopia all require regular predictable sponsorship. Other projects depend on sufficient one off donations to meet the estimated cost. When any of these projects is fully funded we will wherever possible apply donations received after this towards the next similar project
